I think Heidi and Spencer are also selfish in expecting not to be sent to the basement and I also doubt,although I cannot know, however I doubt they would have sent themselves to the basement had they been the ones making the choice.
I also think they themselves are doing a perfectly good job turning people and likely viewers against them without any assistance whatsoever from Rylan.

They are already my least liked housemates and that's just after 2 days of seeing them.
