You misunderstand. A threat of violence is a different thing to actually threatening to be violent. It's just as menacing though.
You don't need to tell someone you're going to "kick their heads in" for example, in order for their to be an undercurrent of intimidation.

ahh gotcha sorry my bad.. to me it wasn't like that though..he just 'diffused' an awful situation where speidi were allowed to get out of control..
It was like watching 2x 7 year olds fighting over 1 playstation remote between spencer & heidi.. who should have a go first... so daddy razor stepped in and turned the playstation off
