Here's the real question - if they'd gone out on the first eviction, or never been put in the house at all, would we have seen rifts form between the other hm's that are being buried right now? In other words, is it the solidarity against speidi that makes the rest come across as boring (the enemy of your enemy is your friend)?
If they didn't have to present a united front against them, lest they be singled out as a speidi sympathizer (like, say, Lacey or Sam), wouldn't they instead be turning on each other - Razor for his snoring, Rylan for his singing, the rest for the idiosyncrasies they must all have, but we never see because it's all about the speidi and Rylan show?
Ryan showed the first sign of that with his noms talk - ignore them and focus on the girls, because they won't vote for each other. Without the speidi elephant in the room, wouldn't that have started by the first or second eviction?
