They understand the need for drama and entertainment in reality TV, they 'get it', and that's what makes them thousands of times better housemates than any of the rest. It's all just a game, an act, a persona - it's not the real them.
And I think it's commendable that he has earnt his fee and done what he was paid to do. They have made this series, and people can try and deny it all they want, but they have, it's indisputable. Without them it would've crumbled into a puddle of piss. They are clearly nice, genuine people at heart but this is a TV show and as I try and stress so much on this forum, the idea is to create drama, events, talking points and they get that, he's tried to and he has succeeded.
And to be quite honest even if that was still an act, it was bloody brilliant acting and the best finish to what has been incredible game playing from them the entire series. So it's win win either way, but you will still get the usual few coming in here and not getting it. Sad really, but IMO, that is not only the best speech ever delivered in one of these final night dinners on Big Brother, but that's the perfect 'closure' to what has been an impeccable few weeks of entertainment from them. Brilliant job.
