It is a ludicrous thing to say... I do feel for Heidi though as it is obviously still quite raw for her... I went through something similar in that I wanted children desperately, my OH didn't, he then decided to do it for me and we failed to get pregnant. Went through years of fertility treatment and ended up splitting up over it. It was awful as in every other way he was my best friend, partner etc but the stress of it all was too much and it was very sad. I have since met someone else and had a son but those years were the most painful of my life. I think if someone had said I wasn't complete without children during those times I would have punched them in the face, when you are going through something like that the last thing you want is judgemental idiots trying to wind you up.
