Default Justified

Hello there, today I am bringing you all a very underrated show that many of you will not have heard of until seeing it in my signature.

Plot:

U.S. Marshal Raylan Givens is a modern day 19th century-style lawman, enforcing his brand of justice in a way that puts a target on his back with criminals and places him at odds with his bosses in the Marshal service. That conflict results in a reassignment for Givens to the U.S. District covering the town where he grew up. He is an anachronism - a tough, soft spoken gentleman who finds his quarry fascinating, but never gives an inch. Dig under his placid skin and you'll find an angry man who grew up hard in rural Kentucky, with an outlaw father, who knows a lot more about who he doesn't want to be than who he really is.

Acclaim

The series has been highly acclaimed by critics. The pilot episode that aired on March 16, 2010 was watched by 4.2 million viewers and was the highest debut show for FX since The Shield.[15] On the review aggregator website Metacritic, the first season scored 81/100,[16] the second season scored 91/100,[17] the third season scored 89/100,[18] and the fourth season scored 90/100, all indicating "universal acclaim".[19]

TV Guide critic Matt Roush praised the show, particularly the acting of Olyphant, stating: "The show is grounded in Olyphant's low-key but high-impact star-making performance, the work of a confident and cunning leading man who's always good company."[16] Chicago Tribune critic Maureen Ryan also praised the series, writing: "The shaggily delightful dialogue, the deft pacing, the authentic sense of place, the rock-solid supporting cast and the feeling that you are in the hands of writers, actors and directors who really know what they're doing—all of these are worthy reasons to watch Justified."

Some More Reasons Locke Thinks You Should Watch It:

1. It stars the great Timothy Olyphant who you may recognize from Hitman, Die Hard 4, The Girl Next Door, I Am Number Four, A Perfect Getaway, or a few other films.

2. It has the best bad guy I've ever seen on a TV show, with the exception of Ben from Lost.

3. Having watched many of the other shows that are currently on TV, I can tell you that Justified is better than them.

4. Men may want to watch for:

5. Women may want to watch for the smooth operator himself

Spoiler:

6. You will know by the end of the Pilot if you will like the show or not. Can't think of a better opening episode to a TV show that I have seen.

7. It has already won 2 emmy awards.

8. So far only 3 full seasons have aired with 13 episodes in each one, so there is not too much to catch up on.

9. It is produced (and based on a book) by the same guy who is behind the original 3:10 to Yuma

10. Even my mum likes it and it is the opposite of the stuff she usually watches.
