Beyonce may have had a messed up era, but Rihanna was named the most illegally downloaded singer from summer '11 to summer '12 and she still surpassed Beyonce in terms of single
and album sales.
The only Bey album to outsell all of Rihs is DIL which according to wikipedia has sold 11mil, GGGB has sold 9mil (according to chartnews) and Bday and IASF have sold 7mil
and TTT has sold over 4 and a half million
