i have windows 98,

when i enter in to my profile, it takes ages and ages5-10 minutes to stop loading.

is there anything i can do to speed it up or stop it?

this is only recent

is there a freeware download to help

any help would be great

my computer is a packard bell club 77, about 4 years old.
