One of the Netherlands' prisons has been turned into a luxury hotel.
The Daily Mail reports that the Het Arresthuis prison, which first opened in 1862, recently went through a large transformation.
Het Arresthuis was said to be one of the country's most feared prisons, often referred to in Dutch as the 'bolletjesbajes' - or, 'stuffer's prison' in English.
The 105 prisoner cells have been turned into 40 rooms all of which boast modern furnishings, air conditioning, a flat screen TV and free Wi-Fi. The prison also includes a sauna, fitness centre, olive trees and an organic herb garden.
After being abandoned for a number of years, the prison reopened in 2002 but closed shortly after in 2007 when hotel construction began.
The Jailhotel Lowengraben in Lucerne, Switzerland was also previously a prison before being converted into a hotel in 1998.
