Considering how many people are in the US of course they will have the dominant figures (still **** compared if you work the ratio out from UK to US population to purchase wise). 1 in every 150 people (approx) bought 'No Strings Attached' compared to 1 in every 81 (approx) who bought 'Be Here Now'.
UK top ten:
1997 Be Here Now Oasis - 763,735
2010 Progress Take That 518,601
2005 X&Y Coldplay - 464,471
2008 The Circus Take That - 432,490
2009 I Dreamed a Dream - Susan Boyle 411,820
2003 Life for Rent - Dido 400,351
2007 Spirit Leona Lewis - 375,872
2005 Intensive Care - Robbie Williams 373,832
2006 Whatever People Say I Am, That's What I'm Not - Arctic Monkeys 363,735
1988 Rattle and Hum - U2 360,000
