After seeing the goal intially i knew it was a "SPECIAL" goal how special though i did not realise untill looking at it again
Putting the actual finish to the side for a moment the pressure he must have been under would have been immense. Knowing fully well that if he had missed this 15% chance at best that with Tony V on the pitch your team more then likely won't have another chance and with RVP on his dry spell even if you create one you more then likely won't take it
And if that was not enough pressure you know fully welll you missing means you not being in a midfield which aside from yourself are not worth pissing on if on fire
The finish itself put simply was special. To toe poke the ball into the corner of the net with 5 men directly around you with all the pressure he was under is amazing. But on second viewing what makes it SPECIAL is knowing he won't be able to score with just a normal toe poke Michael has the pressence of mind to strike the ball up the side of the ball creating it to spin away from the keeper much like a leg spin bowler in cricket. That genetlemen is SPECIAL
Has to be under serious consideration for goal of the season
