A Genuine Misunderstanding

Will the dust have settled after last night's dirt throwing..?


Jade and Shilpa are sleeping as quietly as sweet little lambs this morning... but there's a tossing and turning that betrays a restless sleep.

It's little wonder, given the extremely prickly 'discussion' they had before bedtime, when Jade decided to confront Shilpa on why she thought she wasn't being "genuine".

"Is she fake? Is she real? Is she playing a game?" Jade wondered aloud.

"One minute she's cuddling Carole, stroking her hair, 'you're great, I love you,' the next minute you're whacking your hand up to get her out." Jade said to Shilpa

"This is a game. I have to play the game if I'm here," explained Shilpa.

"Exactly!" said Jade, proud to have caught the game-player red-handed.

"I am playing the game by the rules, I am not playing any mind-games," protested Shilpa, adding: "There is life outside this House."

Just when you thought this argument couldn't go anywhere else, it took an unexpected turn.

"You shouldn't take things so personally, like when someone says your chicken's pink," said Jade.

"It's a totally different thing, it's not about the chicken thing," retorted Shilpa, exasperated that her sub-standard poultry was returning to haunt her, yet again.

"It's my fault," Shilpa sighed finally, but Jade wasn't letting her off the hook that easily.

"You always say that because it's an easy way to close the conversation," said the Londoner. "I think you need to take a step back."

That was about as much as Shilpa could take, even trying to take the blame hadn't worked and she burst into tears.

"I'm not going to on purposely make your upset," said Jade confusingly.

"I'm not upset," whispered Shilpa, as she hid in the corner of the room doing a very good impression of someone fairly devastated.

Wonder how things will be between them this morning as the housemates start to rise..?
