I'm just finding it harder and harder to believe that she's being genuine. She is constantly aware of her actions and how it appears to the public outside. She has been treated pretty badly by Jade and co but this outpouring of sympathy for her is too much. She isn't a child.
The whole reaction reminds me of a South Park episode featuring the nurse with the foetus on her head and what happened when the town found out about her. As usual South Park deliver a very subtle message but in their usual crude manner. I'm not gonna post how I think it applies to the whole "poor Shilpa" thing but if you've seen the episode you might catch on what I'm rambling about.
