I've worked closing shift before, not at Mcdonalds, but in food service. 10 minutes before closing pretty much everything is set up to close. Don't come to Mcdonalds or any Restaurant right before closing and expect anything. You are lucky to get scraps.
A general rule for all food service establishments, the REAL closing time is 30 minutes BEFORE the actual closing time. Come 30 minutes before close, fine, don't come in after that. The last 30 minutes of any closing time is just for the people already eating to finnish. Don't show up at 11:59 and expect to order food.
I have no sympathy at all for those idiots.
