Hey guys I started the thread cos I wanted 2 see what other ppl's opinions were on this. I am glad that a lot of people agree that most of the comments have been blown way out of proportion and should not be taken as racist.

However, some other people, e.g. GRIT have made some very rational and sensible points and I am starting to see things from a slightly different point of view. By this I mean that I hadn't really thought about how innappropriate their behaviour actually is (in terms of the nastiness, not the racism). They are adults after all and, as GRIT said, are making absolutely no effort to accept Shilpa and they do make a huge deal whenever she makes a mistake. If I were Shilpa I think that I would definitely sense the bad vibe as well; they are not exactly subtle about the way they feel. I guess I feel a bit more empathetic towards her than I did yesterday. Anyways, the girls do definitiely need to grow up a wee bit and be much more tolerant of and kind to Shilpa; I think there is consensus on that.

As for Jack calling her a P*ki, I hadn't heard this until checking this thread a few minutes ago, but if it is indeed true then it is absolutely unforgiveable and I think he deserves everything he will get for making such an obsene (and perhaps less importantly, geographically incorrect) comment. My opinion of Jack had declined steadily over the past few days (from very low to start with) and is now at an irretrievable sub-zero level; In short, Jack's a twat!! My opinion on the three girls has lowered as well and I can't wait to see them get pulled apart by Davina when they eventually get evicted, being as they are completely oblivious to the furor that is going on outside the house. God dammit though, I still like the buubly side of Dani's personality.

Also, can people please stop talking about the accent mimicking thing because I think that is neither here nor there.
