The BAFTA is only decided on a single soap episode, different format to the BSA's and all of the nominees are reviewed by a panel
. Corrie should have won that though tbh!
Stuart Blackburn was moaning in the press that Corrie didn't win the BAFTA and that EastEnders won it instead, petty since they have just won 8 awards at the BSA's and he was not in charge of Corrie then, plus their BSA success was due to Phil Collinson, who he replaced anyway
.
The Corrie cast can be a bit petty when they want to! Some of the faces from the big 3 soaps when HO won an award were like thunder too
