A colleague of mine was sent for jury service at Guildford in what must have ben a fairly big case as he was out for about 4 weeks.
Loads of people - him included - tried to get out of this as 4 weeks is a big commitment for most people. The only people who the judge would let go were someone who had a holiday booked and someone who couldn't get childcare. Everyone else had to stay.
By the way, my guess is that the little mo storyline isn't done yet. I'm sure the tabloids will run some sort of "FREE MO" campaign and I bet there will be an appeal with new evidence - possibly Kat testifying about her part in cleaning all the blood up?
The BBC won't be able to let it lie there, because as you say Chad, they need to be responsible and not discourage others in the same situation as Little Mo from speaking out.
