Quote:
A man who admitted carrying out a series of hit-and-run incidents in Cardiff in which a mother-of-three was killed is expected to be sentenced.
Matthew Tvrdon, 31, of no fixed abode, has admitted manslaughter on the grounds of diminished responsibility and seven counts of attempted murder.
Mr Tvrdon is due to be sentenced at Cardiff Crown Court later.
During an earlier hearing, prosecutors said they would consult the victims' families before deciding whether or not to press ahead with a murder trial.
The BBC understands that following that consultation, the decision was made not to put Mr Tvrdon on trial for the murder of Ms Menzies but to accept the plea of guilty to manslaughter on the grounds of diminished responsibility.

If the families don't want to go through a trial, that's understandable, but Tvrdon should be banged up for life ....
