That's probably the best thing to do given the circumstances. Davina will be totally out of her depth with all this anyway.
If they do go ahead with an iunterview the whole thing will be a farce. There will be no crowd, no best bits, no light-hearted chat, it'll just be Jade crying and whining like a 3 year old at what's gone on, before running off. How will Davina conclude it? "Well Jade, it wasn't your finest hour and best of luck with whats left of your career".
Its going to be cringeworthy.
