Gina's parents are to blame for that attitude. Just being given everything on a plate she's not been encouraged to actually do anything with her life or learn the value of what she has. Even with the money handed down to her she could do so much but chooses the "lady of leisure" life. It's sad really. She's clearly been living on another planet to be shocked by Wolfy's income. To attach the measurement of your happiness on your bank balance was ridiculous. Where she finds sadness in seeing how little people live on, I find myself pitying her more.

Having said that, she seems unaware of how she comes across whereas Sallie is knowingly placing herself at the centre of attention and purposely starting these arguments.
