I object to the assumption behind this thread title of this thread

Some of us can see the game the red tops play and how many people get drawn in.

Am I defending everything she does when I point out that people only started seeing things that may not be there, because they were told it was there.

If anyone has any interest in history we have seen this all before, at Salem and at the House UnAmerican Activities Committee during the days of Senater McCarthy.

I am being labled an apologist for pointing out what we had in essence was a personality clash between two individuals, what complicated this was the fact that the two parties came from different racial groups. Thus any argument takes on a "racial" tone which is not there. Even people in the house and Shilpa, on reflection, felt that.

If anyone remembers back to a TV series called the X-Files, they sometimes had a slogan just adter the opening credits. Usually it was "The Truth is Out there" but sometimes they had "Believe the Lie" Are we to be labeled as apologists for not behaving like sheep?
