I saw this yesterday, and while I haven't read the novel, I've been meaning to for a long time and I know and awful lot already about the plot and the book's major concepts. That's why I just cannot understand how this movie can bear the same title as its source material when it's nothing more than a complete bastardisation of it. The novel specifically states the zombies
cannot run, let alone form giant pillars of people that can scale 50 foot walls. It also ignored other things from the book, like how Israel survived in good shape thanks to effective quarantine policies, but instead just allowing Israel to be overrun.
