1 Helen Flanagan Peta gaffe

Helen had uploaded a photo of herself to Instagram wearing a T-shirt bearing an animal welfare organisation's logo.

Underneath she wrote: "Proud to be supporting PETA".

But moments later she posted a 'selfie' in which she posed with two designer totes made from animal hide.

Unsurprisingly, she was mocked by fans, who pointed out that PETA does not approve the use of leather.

But a defiant Helen tweeted: "I'm sorry but this is ridiculous leave me alone! I've done something for charity- exotic animals are killed in a cruel way for there [sic] skins, leather is not! Stop picking on me. Enough."


2 Helen Flanagan Stuart Hall mistake

FOOT-IN-MOUTH Helen shocked fans when she said BBC sex predator Stuart Hall deserved RESPECT.

In an interview with The Sun, she blundered: "I just think, that's an 83-year-old man, you could give him a heart attack. Have some respect."

Her aide defended the bizarre comments, saying Helen had not fully understood the extent of Hall's crimes.

Helen later wrote on Twitter: "I don't know anything about the Stuart hall case things like that I find too horrendous to read To be honest I was thinking about bill roache who has recently been arrested.”

Hall was later jailed for 15 months for 14 indecent assaults against 13 girls as young as nine.


3 Helen Flanagan gun to the head

AGAIN Helen sparked nationwide outrage when she tweeted a snap of her with a gun pressed to her head - days after 26 children and adults were shot dead in the Sandy Hook school massacre.

In the photo, the star posed in a lacy black bra and pointed a miniature pistol to her head.

Shocked parents accused her of "brainless stupidity" and a tearful Helen later apologised on breakfast telly for uploading the picture on the day many of the US victims were buried.

Speaking on Daybreak, Helen said the picture related to having a hangover and said it was the "stupidest thing I've ever done in my life."


4 Pro-Anorexia Mishap

IN March, the ex-soap star incurred the wrath of activists who claimed she was promoting anorexia after she 'liked' a photo of a thin model on Instagram.

The 22-year-old was accused of supporting a movement called 'thinspiration' when she liked the image alongside the phrase, 'Craving is only a feeling'.

Helen denied championing the stick-thin fad and claimed she was seeking diet inspiration.

She also said she was unaware that people could see what photos she had
'liked'.

Helen, who joined Corrie aged ten, said: "I’ve never learned to blow-dry my own hair.

"When I used to work on Coronation Street I used to go into make up in the morning and have my hair blow-dried and so now I prefer other people to do it."

Fellow jungle mate Eric Bristow laughed at her admission, to which Helen fumed: “Honestly, mind your own business, you are such a strange creature, you are such a strange specimen, honestly, such a strange cretin, honestly, bore off."

Helen slapped on several layers of the bottled bake - and ended up looking tangoed.

Her jungle glow gave campmates yet another excuse to mock the dizzy star.

EastEnders actress Charlie Brooks said Helen looked “ridiculous” and compared her to an oompa loompa.


6 Helen Flanagan hotel drama

THE telly babe admitted she once had an entire hotel evacuated and police called out because she believed a man was hiding under her bed.

Helen said she was "absolutely terrified" when she spotted a shadowy figure in her room - prompting staff to evacuate guests while they hunted for the 'intruder'.

But the pin-up was left red-faced when she realised it was her own reflection in the mirror.
