Some white people will always get promoted over people of colour. That's why whenever a black or asian MP is touted as a possible leader it's laughed at, that's why Makosi ended up being treated like the devil when she wasn't even bitchy, just ego-centric despite being very entertaining, that's why Zayn Malik from 1D is pushed to the back and average white guy Harry Style promoted as a sexy god (ditto Siva from The Wanted with Max), that's why Serena Williams despite being on her way to being the GOAT ladies player earns $4m less in endorsements that Maria Sharopova who hasn't beaten her in 10 years, why folk say ex-footballer turned cocaine fiend Maradonna is often rated better than Pele, why as soon as model Joan Smalls became the first ever no1 model the media went mad for average white model Cara Delevigne, why 1980s black comedy show the only white actor was the break out star Jim Carrey etc etc etc
