Last we heard, Arcade Fire were in New York City working on their upcoming The Suburbs followup with James Murphy at DFA Studios. Now, the band has confirmed on Twitter that the album will officially be out on October 29. The announcement was accompanied by the image, above.
The band confirmed the date in response to a fan, who simply Tweeted, "you're my favorite".
