We've got to remember that we do not yet know what Hazel said in the diary room after the events had happened. If she said to BB that she felt vulnerable, uncomfortable, didn't like it etc.. the producers would probably be quite concerned of what Daley might do later on in the show. The right decision has been made, god knows what he may have done later on, the producers really could not risk that.
