,,no, it doesn't sound weird at all Jess..it sounds completely understandable and adorable..I think it's not so much a superstition thing because I'm not superstitious at all..it is more of a comfort blanket thing and whatever the reason, it's just something that makes you feel better/more comfortable whenever you feel you need it...aww and your boyfriend sounds as though he helps to give you more confidence, he sounds lovely Jess..
