I remember a story about Mike and Bernie Winters appearing at the notoriously hard Glasgow Empire.
Mike had been on for half an hour, and the audience were giving him pelters, and blanking all of his jokes.
Eventually his brother Bernie walked on to the stage to an embarrassing silence.
Someone from the crowd shouted, "Oh ****! There's two of them!".
This could easily be the reaction to these two diddies in the house.
