Obviously the racism and bigotry is disgusting and while I don't want to say that the season has benefited from it directly, it has benefited it from the divide it caused. BB seasons are almost always good when there is a fierce house divide, and one side being completely vile while the other side is completely righteous just makes the show that much better to watch. We're dealing with Alison Grodner, good will triumph over evil and we're almost guaranteed that the end result will be stomachable.

To make a BBUK comparison, 7 and 13 were undeniably great seasons and both casts were filled with a bunch of dull, antagonistic jerks with a select few battling against them to make it to the end. Loving Aisleyne and Deana was enough to push me through those seasons, and now on BBUS we have 7 or 8 of people to root for and love.
