which progs are you thinking you would miss if you had no "windows"?
A lot of programmes and plug ins have compatibility issues with Linux/Don't have a linux version.
You can mostly get past this, but I can't be bothered to try and get past something

EDIT: I've heard good things about Ubuntu.
I know what you mean, a year ago there were a lot of things stopping me from giving up on microsoft, now though there is nothing i cant do on ubuntu i can on xp, theres even a linux version of google earth.
