I understand what you are saying, but I disagree.
The whole point about BB is that they are cut off from public opinion. If the audience voted for who they disliked, then the game would be up. The house would know for sure who was unpopular. At the moment they only get clues based on the crowd outside. And even that tends to be focused on those up that week.
As well as that, its an unfortunate fact that women tend to vote out women. If the viewing public had their way, the first 3 weeks would be just getting rid of the pretty girls. We'd end up with a house of men and the one inoffensive woman.
I'll use sophie from BB10 as my sample. She won because people took the time to get to know her. Had the audience gone on first looks, then the pretty blonde, with the big boobs, that works as a glamour model, would never have had a shot, as she would be up straight away.
