It appears some think he was patronising and Hazel should've done it herself but I think that especially because she asked him to, I think he done a really good job. It was a serious matter and he spoke about it with seriousness. I don't think the other HM's should've been at all offended. I would've respected her decision and I thought it was nice that she had the confidence to tell him about it.

Actually I think dan offered to tell the rest of the house for her, not the other way around.
But I believe he handled the situation very well, all his concern was for her. Despite the some of the others getting the hump.
