I agree with you, and what's wrong with calling them 'fat', which is what they are. You could have been much more uncharitable by using other suitable adjectives such as thick, gormless, irritating, desperate, vacuous, boring etc etc!
Incidentally, I generally refer to them as Tweedeldum and Tweedledumber!
