Here's another article on this from the Daily Record
They claim the prize money has gone up to 100.000!!

BIG BROTHER contestants are in for a shock when they arrive at the house this week and discover the bathroom has glass walls.

Programme bosses, determined to make this year's show as uncomfortable as possible, have installed see-through partitions in the shower and toilet.

Anyone taking a shower will be in full view of the other housemates from the garden or living area.

The glass around the toilet does mist over to give some privacy but only if the door is properly closed.

It remains to be seen whether the housemates will bare all or cover up with swimwear.

The house, in Elstree, Hertfordshire, has been made more cramped and uncomfortable. Executive producer Shirley Jones said: 'This year the house is smaller and a lot more oppressive. We designed the house to make it difficult for people.'

The slogan of the fifth series is Big Brother Gets Evil and contestants have been chosen who are unlikely to get on which each other. The house has just one dormitory and some contestants will be forced to share beds.

Elsewhere, the kitchen is painted lurid green and has hard stools.

The only relaxing area is the outdoor spa which has a bath hut and pamper room.

A spokeswoman said: 'This year they will have nowhere to run and nowhere to hide. The house feels claustrophobic and disorientating, a difficult place to live in.'

Yesterday, plans for the new contestants were thrown into chaos after some of their names leaked out.

A line-up of 14 potential housemates is rumoured to include former soldier Jason from Scotland, asylum seeker turned businessman Ahmed, married stripper Suzie, a lesbian couple and a 26-year-old sex siren sporting a pierced nipple.

Channel 4 bosses are said to be furious with the poor security.

An insider said: 'This isn't fair because the best thing is the viewers, as well as the contestants, know nothing about the identities until it starts on Friday.

'This just spoils it for everybody.' The winner of this year's show will scoop £100,000, a whopping £30,000 more than last year's winner, Orkney fish trader Cameron Stout.

They will have to compete in a series of humiliating challenges inspired by ITV jungle reality show I'm A Celebrity ... Get MeOut Of Here.

After 16 million viewers tuned into its bug-eating antics, Big Brother chiefs decided housemates might dine on bulls' testicles, be forced to play a pig or a dog for aday, eata pile of beetles, or strip off to agonisingly cover themselves in bulldog clips.

Davina McCall presents the series again and is said to beon a pay packet worth £500,000 with £50,000 for Friday's flagship first night and each eviction night.
