It's on my point. If the people who dislike him comment on his alleged homesexuality then you could be intimating that this is a reason why they don't like Dexter therefore they would dislike all homosexual's in the house.
You said the people who said he is gay are people who dislike him so are you saying people don't like him because they think he is gay?
