I think Hazel showed her true self in the time she spent with Daley. Her personality was evil, she made comments about how it wasn't her problem if he had a girlfriend and more. I feel like her quiet, sweet act since he has gone is purely her trying to recover from the realisation (from hearing the crowd and being told by dexter and Dan how she made herself look) that she'd done herself damage.

She showed her true colors again tonight when she went off about Callum for no reason at all.

I think she's getting what she deserves.
