Ok, I'll bite:

On several occasions Dan stood up for Callum and took his side: when Charlie had a go at him in the bedroom whilst she was drunk; and the next day in the garden when Dan talked about what a dick Dex had been with him that night.

Most of Dan's nastiness hasn't been to Callum's face, it's been behind his back. To his face he's been pretty civil.

But hey, why bother considering the possibility that Callum has misread the situation when we can go with the most negative interpretation.? After all, it is Callum we're talking about. A man so evil, and guilty of such appalling crimes that no quarter should be given by anybody, on the show, in the audience or on the boards
