Former trade and industry secretary Paul Channon has died

Former trade and industry secretary and ex-Southend West MP Paul Channon has died at the age of 71.
The former Conservative minister was made a life peer - Baron Kelvedon of Ongar - in 1997. He died at the family home in Brentwood, Essex, on Saturday.
Lord Kelvedon was Southend West MP between 1959 and 1997.
