I like him because he's a rubbish version of what he thinks he is... Which is always endearing. Like a yappy little puppy full of bravado!
You'd have to be utterly mad to trust him, though.
And equally .ad to genuinely think he'll win. Either Gina will have another positive storyline before the end, in which case she'll win, or she'll continue to slide into slightly bitchy obscurity and Sam will win. Probably the latter.
