The one thing I did like about Rise and I said this last week is that at least it was a continuation of where Cook left off, and somewhat of a resolution to his story after what happened with Foster. I mean they totally ignored Effy's mental health problems that she had and only briefly referenced Sid so I was glad that this actually continued the story somehow though it would've been nice for them to

actually end it for once...like was he going to keep on running or turn himself into the police

I have a feeling they may have left it open ended just in case they get a chance to work with him again, Cook is Jamie Brittain's favourite character he's created

Ah fair enough, yeah I would say it symbolizes that Cook is always on the run

I enjoyed Cook's episodes the most also, which is funny because I always found him a very overrated character. He was just an exaggerated version of a young thuggish lad but theyd really developed and matured his character for season 7, Id like to see more of him in the future. What I also liked is that the supporting characters were much more purposeful (Emma, Charlie and Louie) compared to Effy's and Cassie's (bar the girl she lived with).

What Skins 7 failed to bring was an overly happy ending for any of the characters. We had Effy go to prison, Naomi die + Emily left devastated, Cook on the run and Cassie sort of found herself but was just lumped with her brother in London still. I really think that she should have ended up with Sid, or the girl on the iPad and the guy had been looking for Cassie all this time as she was 'perfect' for a role in a top-end drama production they are carrying out, with the ending scene her all dressed up for a really 'classy' part (Hannah ).
