Sassy young Scotsman Jonathan "J-Bird" Firewire (Jonathan) is an aspiring singer who faces competition from some local rivals (Twilight, Braden, Dezzy) who are all battling it out to make it into the "TIBB choir", the Talented International Baritone Bards, a choir that specialises in war chants and stunning pop numbers. J-Bird's struggle to get into the choir is characterised by his personality clash with the choir leader Jezzika (Jessica) and his oppressive family trying to hold him back (Livia, Jesus).
