Default Should my laptop be replaced?

I'm insured and have had my laptop for about three years I think. Can't remember.

Anyway, over a month ago my laptop starting flashing and vertical lines kept appearing so I sent it off to the company to repair it. It took about two weeks then they sent it back and I was on it for a few hours and the screen just went black and when I phoned up they said the back light must have broken so send it back again. It took another week and they sent it back two days ago and now it's gone back to the original problem of the vertical lines and my screen just went completely white for ten minutes. I phoned the company up again and they said they'll come collect it again.

When will they just replace it? I don't think it's very fair that i've bought a laptop and I get to use it for two days then it's in repair for a few weeks. Seems pointless.
