No, it would never occur to me that the man who though he had the right to tell a woman that he would "allow" her to speak to other people would have that much perspective. I figure it's more likely he saw it and thinks Daley was perfectly in the right trying to "control his woman", but I was being kind in suggesting maybe he hasn't seen it and that there's hope he'd still do the right thing, especially in light of his own actions.
