Gina can't take anyone saying anything even mildly positive about Hazel. She nominated the twins because Gina felt they'd disrespected her by not siding with her against their friend, Hazel. She's angry at Charlie for the same reason. Gina's obsessed with Hazel because she's everything Gina isn't... smart, funny, successful in her own right, beautiful, natural... the list is endless.
