Jamie Oliver has made his money over £150M we read, now he is looking at self promotion and publicity for his massive ego. I've no doubt he sincerely believes his own mantra and to be honest there is more than a little truth in it, however the way the message is preached by this smug, chirpy,cheeky chappie is patronising in the extreme.

He is at best an average chef like thousands of hard working chefs but he was in the right place at the right time and found his niche in the TV chef world. I don't begrudge the hard work he has put in but now he is able to afford to eat practically anything he wants and he must know poverty usually results in poor diet choices as fast food and convenience foods are cheaper but are of poorer quality also.

So I feel this latest outburst is him perhaps looking to promote a new series on TV or a new Book either way its not going to change the eating habits of millions of impoverished people struggling in one of the longest and hardest recessions of modern times.
