Hang on a minute, when have I 'banged on about him saying the n word'? Actually before this post I think I may have only ever mentioned it once before on this forum...so please don't put words into my mouth.

I was actually willing to give him a chance (as I am all the housemates) upon entering and having had no idea who he was and only learning of the incident that destroyed his career a week ago I, like you, was of the opinion (and often am in these cases) that people deserve second chances and they shouldn't be labelled for their entire life because of one incident.

However, he made a very questionable comment about relating wearing headscarves to terrorism so forgive me and others for linking this incident with his previous history and the fact that he clearly stated to Bruce 'I'm having to keep a lid on a lot of things in here' also whilst not really seeming to engage in many conversations in the house, instead just going 'hmm...yeah, yeah, hmm...', so I mean it's natural for me to be intrigued as to what exactly he's 'keeping a lid on' and be worried about the potential content judging by his history and the fact that he even made a comment of that calibre in the house knowing full well his career was destroyed for stuff like that.

Part of me thinks he needs to leave for his own sake because I feel quite sorry for him that I think he wants to obviously clear his name but if he's going to make remarks like that it's not going to happen and that makes me (strangely) feel bad for him in a way.

But then the other part just thinks well I'm sorry but what exactly about Lauren is 'intriguing'? You put two and two together 'I'm having to keep a lid on things in here' and it seems perfectly reasonable for myself and others to question whether his inner thoughts are ones that are, as I said...um...outdated...

No but I expect him to you know, actually contribute to the show...

The fact that he's cutthroat and doesn't give a sh*t and is being openly critical and is pissing some people off is what makes him a good housemate, that leads to the potential for drama which is of course miles better than watching Ron go 'hmm...yeah, yeah'
