Danielle Lloyd disliked Shilpa Shetty because her bossy behaviour reminded her of abusive relationships she was once in.
The 'Celebrity Big Brother' housemate - who was questioned by police following allegations of racism - insists her comments weren't racially motivated and says Shilpa's "controlling" behaviour brought back painful memories for her.
Danielle told New magazine: "Shilpa was being very controlling and I can't stand people being like that because I've been in two controlling, abusive relationships.
"The first lad I dated between the age of 15 and 18 was possessive and controlling and eventually tried to kill me by running me over in my car.
"I was driving and he dragged me out of the car by my hair. As my foot came off the clutch, he put the car in reverse and the wheel ran over my shoulder.
"Luckily nothing happened to my shoulder. But I was black and blue all over from where the car had pulled me along."
