I think it is the young people and viewers who are saying Bruce is being mangy, I guess when they get to 60 years old themselves they will realise that they need their sleep and 2am is for sleeping. I do think the girls were selfish in partying in the bedroom when there is all that other room in the house/garden. I don't necessarily agree that it was bullying though, however it was selfish and thoughtless imo.
