I also don't personally think its right for people to get away with snidey, hateful comments about other human beings completely unchallenged under the guise of "right to an opinion". Yes, everyone has one. And is entitled to one. Just as I am entitled to the opinion that it's these miserable attitudes that are ruining our country, and I am entitled to feel that the vitriolic opinions of others makes me dislike them intensely, and I am entitled to say so.
If people don't want to be "insulted" for their stinking, festering, venomous little opinions then they should reconsider stating them.
