I am going to get slaughtered for saying this but I do think a lot of teenagers and young adults nowadays are really really vacuous dumb and shallow. It almost feels unfair to single her out. I actually bet Charlotte can't point Wales, Isle of Wight or even America on an atlas, let alone Serbia or Chile. It's actually a problem as whilst so many girls idolise the Charlottes of the world, the upper classes in the playing fields of Eton, St Pauls and Cheltenham Girls College are becoming the political leaders, IT entrepreneurs etc but the working class are too 'high' on worshipping Charlotte etc to notice. Opiate of masses etc.
